Editorial Focus

The Nasiona’s mission is to cultivate the seeds of nonfiction. We publish and promote narrative-led work that explores the human condition. We focus on creative works based on facts, truth-seeking, human concerns, real events, and real people, with a personal touch.

Tips From the Editor

Be familiar with our content and submit pieces that fit what we're about. Though we are a nonficiton magazine, we lean toward creative nonfiction, narrative nonfiction, and nonfiction poetry. We try to steer away from position essays that try to persuade the reader to take a side on an issue. Instead, we look to disclose new worlds through the lens of personal experiences.
