Editorial Focus

Summer 2020 Theme: Resistance

Guest Editor: Brad Wetzler

Our DoveTales journal is a manifestation of our mission to promote writing that explores the many aspects of peace, exposing young writers to thoughtful works by established and emerging writers. Writing for Peace publishes two issues of DoveTales per year, February 1st and August 1st, and a print anthology at the end of the year that includes both publications.

Tips From the Editor

History’s greatest peacemakers, such as Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela, have taught us that peace is never passive. Sometimes those of us who love peace must do more than be living examples of peace. We must act, do, rise up, bang the gong, take to the streets. It’s obvious that now is one of these times. We must use our voices and vast numbers to stop the madness and bring attention back to the one thing we all share in common: our humanity.
