This panel presents three quite varied writers - one working primarily in fiction, one here most recently in poetry, the third in non-fiction prose - but each exploring aspects and angles of queer South Asian (American) identity. Seattle writer Aparajeeta ‘Sasha’ Duttchowdhury is the co-editor of the anthology, Moving Truth(s): Queer and Transgender Desi Writing on Family (Flying Chickadee), which addresses exactly those questions and concerns. Minal Hajratwala is most recently the author of the excellent poetry collection, Bountiful Instructions For Enlightenment ((Great) Indian Poetry Collective).
