Join us for the reading and launch of the 2020 edition of the collaborative audio project, QUEENSBOUND. QUEENSBOUND will celebrate the work of new contributors with a reading on the 7 train and reception at Flushing Town Hall. Readers include Nadia Q. Ahmad, Pichchenda Bao, Ryan Black, M.A. Dennis, Nana Brew-Hammond, Ellen Hagan, Kimiko Hahn, Jared Harél, Abeer Y. Hoque, Maria Lisella, Robert Ostrom, Sahar Romani, Jackie Sherbow, KC Trommer, and Sweta Srivastava Vikram. On April 18, contributors and guests will meet on the platform at the Queens-bound Vernon Jackson station and step on the first car of the first local train to pass by. Contributors will read their original work on the 7 train before stepping off the train at Flushing Main Street and walking to Flushing Town Hall for a reception. This event was originally scheduled for April 2020; we will decide closer to the September date if moving forward with the reading makes sense.
