Join us in celebrating the launch of 1619 Speaks: An Anthology of African American Poets. This event will be held in-person at the Sims Library of Poetry. Please register via the provided link. Several poets will read their original poems included in this new anthology. Readers will include the following: Flyy High, James Coats, Tyren Thompson, Tekira, and Tommy Domino. Woodrow Bailey, one of the editors of this book, will be the host. Books will be available to purchase for $20. All proceeds from book sales will support Community Literature Initiative (CLI) and its programs.
