Managing Editor, 18th Century Studies

The Managing Editor will help set the research agenda for the future of eighteenth-century studies and help to design the journal’s issues by surveying cutting-edge work in the field broadly conceived and implementing strategies for attracting new submissions and readers. Accordingly, the Managing Editor will be expected to maintain a program of scholarly research and is encouraged to participate in the larger intellectual community of The American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), UNH (including the UNH 18th-Century Interdisciplinary Seminar), and regional academic institutions.


Qualifications:

Ph.D. in a discipline within or adjoining the long eighteenth-century period. Candidates should possess excellent academic, organizational, and administrative skills, and have experience in editing manuscripts for publication.
