College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks a full-time English faculty starting August 1, 2020. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in English composition, ranging from developmental English to advanced composition. The English faculty reports directly to the English Program Director. This is a 10-month appointment.
The successful candidate will teach twelve (12) credit hours each semester (24 academic year) and advise students. The successful candidate will fulfill faculty responsibilities as assigned or as specified in the Faculty Handbook.
The successful candidate will hold an earned Doctorate in English from a regionally accredited institution; must be eligible for a position as Assistant or Associate Professor or full professor; and have experience teaching developmental English as well as first-year composition and advanced composition.
Experience teaching and designing hybrid and online composition courses; experience in crafting and developing course content with Canvas or another LMS; teaching literature as needed.
Commensurate with credentials and experience.
