Editorial Production Associate (Part-Time)

We have an excellent opportunity if you are an editorial professional looking for a part-time position with benefits.  

We seek a productive and organized person who enjoys organizing multiple projects to meet deadlines while assuring quality content. You will be responsible for the editorial production (soliciting, tracking, proofing, and archiving) of all reprint corrections for both print and e-book products. You will participate in early manuscript prep for first printings, including development of art logs, file management, and liaising with authors to acquire higher-quality art files as necessary. The publishing industry is changing, and you may be called upon to take on special projects in order to find solutions to new problems.  

You should have editorial production skills with strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills. You should be willing to learn new skills, but already have editorial production experience and enjoy working within Excel and databases. Advanced knowledge of Word, Acrobat, and Illustrator a plus.

We offer a collaborative atmosphere, while seeking staff who can work independently. We have a relaxed atmosphere and maintain high expectations.

This is a part-time position (25 hours per week) with competitive salary and excellent benefits.
