Contracts and Permissions Manager

Library of America, a prestigious non-profit publisher, seeks a Contracts and Permissions Manager to draft and negotiate contracts; maintain contracts files; submit check requests to accounting; research and clear permissions for text and illustrations, while managing costs to keep projects on budget; and respond to permissions requests. Small, collegial office. Minimum two years publishing experience. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Sign preferred. Attention to detail, and ability to handle a high volume of tasks independently are necessary. Reports to Editorial Director. Email cover letter, resume and salary requirements. No phone inquiries.
