Author's Bio

Samantha L. Terrell is an internationally published American poet whose work emphasizes self-awareness as a means to social awareness. Born and raised in the Midwest (U.S.A.), she and her family now reside in upstate New York. In 2021, Terrell received First Honorable Mention in the Anita McAndrews, Poets for Human Rights Awards. Her books Vision, and Other Things We Hide From (Potter's Grove Press) and Keeping Afloat (JC STUDIO Press) have, respectively, earned five-star reviews. In addition, her work has appeared in dozens of fine in-print and online publications such as Dove Tales International Journal of the Arts, Green Ink Poetry, In Parentheses, Lucky Jefferson, OPEN Journal of Arts and Letters, Paddler Press, Red Weather, and others.
