Pushcart nominee:The New Southerner James Baker Hall Memorial Prize in Poetry (2013); the Kudzu Prize in Poetry (2014); finalist in the Janet McCabe Poetry Prize (Ruminate Magazine, 2014); finalist in the Betty Gabehart Prize in Poetry (2016); finalist in the Joy Bale Boone Poetry Prize (The Heartland Review 2012 and 2022). Her first full-length poetry collection, "Daybreak and Deep," was a Finalist in the American Book Fest Best Books of 2022 for Narrative Poetry. "Daybreak and Deep" was also a Finalist in the 2023 Eric Hoffer da Vinci Eye award (for outstanding book covers).
