Author's Bio

Born in Texas, raised in California, Eugenia Hepworth Petty now makes her home in the Pacific Northwest. She earned her BA in English/Creative Writing from Mills College, and her MA in Poetics from New College of California, where she studied with Tom Clark, Adam Cornford, Lyn Hejinian and David Meltzer. She wrote her MA thesis on the shamanic aspects of poet Patti Smith. A portion of this thesis is due to be published in an anthology by Vernon Press.
