Whenever I'm asked what advice I can give those who are considering a career in poetry, or fiction, I say –You can be as avant garde as a jackfruit-bearing atheist baobab, but you still need a palpable narrative arc for your creations. My name is Emeniano Acain Somoza, Jr. and I am the spiritual advisor of Dwight and Gordot, my roommates - the first a koi, the other, a Turkish Van cat. When not busy anthologizing emptiness or boredom, I create little constellations of poets with the new Syzygy Poetry Journal.
