Author's Bio

Autumn Noelle Hall served as the inaugural Tanka Prose Editor for Ribbons, the journal of the Tanka Society of America from 2016-2018. Her Asian Short Form poetry appears regularly in journals around the globe, including Atlas Poetica, Blithe Spirit, the cherita, Contemporary Haibun Online, Eucalypt, Frameless Sky, Frog Pond, Haibun Today, Haigaonline, Kokako, Modern Haiku, Moonbathing, Presence, Prune Juice, red lights, Ribbons, Sage Green Journal, TinyWords, and the zen place. She is honored to have had poetry included in the recent anthologies, Earth: Our Common Ground, and galaxy of dust: A Red Moon Anthology of English Language Haiku, as well as in Write Like Issa: A Haiku How-to by David Lanoue. Often informed by her personal experience and her home in the Rocky Mountains, her work reflects a deep concern for the natural environment, social welfare/equality, and political/spiritual awareness and involvement. An avid photographer, Autumn also publishes integrated art/poetry forms such as photo haiga and tankart. She is a past member of the British Haiku Society, the Haiku Society of America, The Rocky Mountain Haiku Society, and the Tanka Society of America, as well as an active member/presenter for the CG Jung Society of Colorado Springs.
