The 30th annual Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival was held from March 30 to April 3 at various venues in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The festival featured panels, master classes, a book fair, musical events and performances, and walking tours. Participating writers included poets Peter Cooley and Mark Yakich; fiction writers Megan Abbott, Alexander Chee, and Claire Vaye Watkins; and nonfiction writer Rick Bragg. The cost of a full festival pass, which included all events and master classes, was $500. A master class full series pass, which included access to all master classes and more than 30 panels, was $175. A full panel pass, which includes access to all panels, was $75 ($60 for students).
