Author's Bio

In a misguided attempt to summon the Muse Robyn Parnell once saw the profile of the love child of Oprah Winfrey and Jack London formed by the dust on her desk. She sipped a caffeinated beverage until the image faded. Parnell, an Author's Guild/SCBWI member, is published in numerous books and journals, most of which have not filed Chapter 11. Notable credits include a short fiction collection "This Here and Now" and a children's book "My Closet Threw a Party"; less notable credits are not noted in this notation. Current projects include adult and juvenile novels, a short fiction collection and a children's picture book. When not writing, Parnell rehearses her NEA grant refusal speech and considers obtaining professional help to compose a more ostentatious Author's Bio.
