The sixth annual Ridgefield Writers Conference was held on September 21 at the Ridgefield Library in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The conference featured workshops in fiction and creative nonfiction, panels, author readings, opportunities to query agents, and a wine and cheese reception. The faculty included fiction writer Chris Belden and creative nonfiction writer Sonya Huber. Fiction writer Rachel Basch delivered the keynote. Participating publishing professionals included agent Marilyn Allen (Allen O’Shea Literary) and editors Adele Annesi (Word for Words), Colin Hosten (Disney Publications), and Tamar Mays (HarperCollins).
