The third annual Ridgefield Writers Conference was held from September 25 to September 26 at the Ridgefield Library in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The conference featured workshops in fiction and creative nonfiction, panel discussions on publishing and the writing life, opportunities to submit queries to agents, and readings. The faculty included fiction writers Chris Belden, Karen Osborn, and Michael White; creative nonfiction writers Sonya Huber and James Chesbro; and fiction and creative nonfiction writer Adele Annesi. The keynote speaker was nonfiction writer Larry Bloom. Participating agents and editors included Marilyn Allen (Allen O’Shea Literary Agency), Diana Finch (Diana Finch Agency), Emily Keyes (Fuse Literary Agency), David Legere (Globe Pequot Press), Denise Marcil (Denise Marcil Literary Agency), Joe Pan (Brooklyn Arts Press), Dan Pope (Roundabout Press), Rita Rosenkranz (Rita Rosenkranz Literary Agency), and Saba Sulaiman (Talcott Notch Literary Services).
