Author's Bio

In 2018, Underground Voices will publish my novel, PETROLEUM TRANSFER ENGINEER. I'm the author of SOMETHING TO SAY (Leapfrog Press), a series of profiles of various artists discussing the intersection of art and politics, and ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM FOR BEGINNERS (For Beginners Books). My work--fiction and nonfiction--has been featured on NPR's ALL THINGS CONSIDERED and has appeared in the ATLANTIC, the BROOKLYN RAIL, the FORWARD, Akashic Books' "Thursdaze" series, FLYOVER COUNTRY REVIEW, and others.
