Author's Bio

Rachel Furey grew up in upstate NY and received her BS from SUNY Brockport. She earned her MFA from Southern Illinois University and her PhD from Texas Tech. She is an Assistant Professor at Southern Connecticut State University. Her work has appeared in journals such as One Teen Story, Crab Orchard Review, Cicada, Fifth Wednesday Journal, Women’s Basketball Magazine, and Chautauqua.
