The program also offers concentrations in writing for children and young adults and comics and graphic narratives, in addition to concentrations in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. The program offers applied tracks in pedagogy, arts administration, community outreach, and publishing.

Students attend two 10-day residencies each year, in January and July, at the Pine Manor College campus in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

The funding application deadline is September 25, 2017, for the January residency and Marth 16, 2018, for the July residency. The final application deadline is October 23, 2017, for the January residency and April 20, 2018, for the July residency.
