The Peripatetic Writing Workshop and Retreat for fiction writers and creative nonfiction writers was held from August 22 to September 5 in Woodstock, New York, two hours north of New York City. The first week of the conference featured daily workshops, discussions, readings, and time to write. The second week of the conference featured writing time, discussions, readings, and individual manuscript tutorials. The faculty included fiction and nonfiction writers Maureen Brady, Martha E. Hughes, and Aaron Hamburger. Writers may have participated in one or both weeks. The cost of the conference was $1,495 per week, which included workshops, a single room with a shared bath (the cost of a double room with a shared bath is $1195), daily breakfasts, and some dinners.
