Housed at the oldest art school in Los Angeles, Graduate Writing at Otis College offers team-taught multi-genre workshops, individual tutorials pairing students with practitioners in their chosen areas, and seminars developed in collaboration with students. Sustaining an interest in world literatures, the program offers a translation concentration. Graduate Writing also houses the student-run Otis Books, producing six titles annually. A vibrant Visiting Writers Series hosts writers and editors from around the country.

The application deadline for the spring semester is November 1; the application deadline for the fall semester is January 15.
