The 35th annual Miami Book Fair was held from November 11 to November 18 at the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College in downtown Miami. The festival featured readings in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole by more than 500 authors from around the world, as well as panel discussions, performances, and special events and activities. Participating authors included poets Lindsay Bernal, Jos Charles, Billy Collins, Dominique Christina, Mark Eisner, Daniel Halpern, Barbara Hamby, Juan Felipe Herrera, Jodie Hollander, J. Michael Martinez, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Barbara Nightingale, and Emily Jungmin Yoon; fiction writers Elliot Ackerman, Robert Olen Butler, Ingrid Rojas Contreras, Debra Dean, Teresa Dovalpage, Andre Dubus III, Leif Enger, Amy Ephron, Charles Frazier, Robert Goolrick, Steve Israel, Tayari Jones, Liane Moriarty, Celeste Ng, Joyce Carol Oates, Michael Ondaatje, Jamie Quatro, Curtis Sittenfeld, and Jacqueline Woodson; and nonfiction writers Mohammed Al Samawi, Andrea Barnet, Tina Brown, David Grann, Mona Hanna-Attisha, Gilbert King, Jane Leavy, Daniel Mendelsohn, Elaine Pagels, Peter Sagal, Stacy Schiff, Sonia Sotomayor, and Lawrence Wright.
