Author's Bio

Linera Lucas won the 2007 Crucible Fiction Prize and has had short stories, poetry, and non-fiction published in Crucible, Pindeldyboz, VerbSap, Pipes & Timbrels, Salem Monthly, Five Star Literary Stories, Bede’s Journal, R-KV-RY, and in the anthologies In The Yard, Night Whispers, VoiceCatcher 2008, and Boomtown. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University, and has taught writing at the University of Washington Women’s Center and at Richard Hugo House.
