The thirteenth annual Lighthouse Writers Workshop Lit Fest will be held from June 1 to June 15 in Denver. The festival features two weeks of workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as salons, seminars, and parties for writers of all genres and levels. Participating writers include poets CAConrad and Terrance and Hayes; fiction writers Steve Almond, Robin Black, Sheila Heti, Leslie Jamison, Min Jin Lee, Lydia Millet, Jenny Offill, and Maggie Shipstead; nonfiction writers Charles D'Ambrosio and Emily Rapp Black; screenwriter Alexandre O. Phillippe; and playwright Daniel Goldfarb. Tuition a weeklong workshop is $850 for Lighthouse and $910 for nonmembers; Tuition for a weekend workshop is $495 for members and $555 for nonmembers. The weekend workshops include daily breakfasts. Some scholarships are available. Lodging is available at nearby hotels and inns.
