Jason Morphew started life in a mobile home in Pike County, Arkansas; he has a PhD in English Renaissance Literature from UCLA. As a singer-songwriter he's released albums on Brassland, Ba Da Bing!, Max!, and Unread. He lives in Los Angeles.
