The 32nd annual Iowa Summer Writing Festival will be held in June and July on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City. The festival, open to writers of all levels over the age of 18, features more than 135 weeklong and weekend-long workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. The faculty includes poets Katie Ford, Michael Morse, and Sabrina Orah Mark; fiction writers Jeffery Renard Allen, Rachel Pastan, and Ian Stansel; and creative nonfiction writers Hope Edelman, Robin Hemley, and Jeremy B. Jones. Tuition is $680 per weeklong workshop and $360 per weekend workshop. Lodging is available for discounted rates at area hotels and inns. Registration is first come, first served.
