The 14th annual Interlochen Writer’s Retreat was held from June 10 to June 13 on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan. The retreat featured workshops in fiction and creative nonfiction, as well as craft talks, readings, and time to write. The faculty included poet Fleda Brown, fiction writer Rebecca Makkai, fiction and nonfiction writers Eric Charles May and Rebecca McClanahan, poet and nonfiction writer Anne-Marie Oomen, and multi-genre writer Christine Maul Rice. The cost of the conference was $520. Lodging and meals were not included; lodging was available on campus for discounted rates. Registration was first come, first served.
