I am a Tamil American writer, performing artist, and lawyer whose family immigrated from Sri Lanka. Based in Washington, DC, I am a Kundiman fellow, poetry coordinator at BloomBars, a poetry events host at Busboys and Poets, senior poetry editor at Jaggery, and co-editor of Beltway Poetry Quarterly.
