The Edward F. Albee Foundation offers four- and six-week residencies from June to mid-October to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at the William Flanagan Memorial Creative Persons Center in Montauk, New York. Residents are provided with a private room and work space; transportation and meals are not included. The center can accommodate up to three writers at a time. Using the online application system, submit up to 12 poems, a short story, two essays, or two chapters of a novel or memoir; a personal statement; contact information for two references; and a résumé between January 1 and March 1.
