The program offers special discounts for full-time teachers and students over the age of 62.

The program offers degrees in poetry and poetry in translation.

Students attend two 10-day residencies each year, in January and June, at the Drew University campus in Madison, New Jersey, fifty minutes outside of New York City.

Students also have the opportunity to attend a residency in Donegal, Ireland, where they will study with Drew core faculty and visiting Irish writers. Students will also have the opportunity to visit sites connected to W. B. Yeats and Seamus Heaney, as well as spots along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The program hosts a visiting writers series, readings, and regular alumni weekends.

The priority application deadline is October 15 for the January residency and April 15 for the June residency.
