Daniel is the author of six books and editor of the anthology, "Latinos in Lotusland" (Bilingual Press, 2008). He has written for many literary journals and for other publications such as The New York Times, El Paso Times, Los Angeles Times, Jewish Journal, Los Angeles Review of Books, and High Country News. Daniel shares blogging duties on La Bloga, which is dedicated to Chicano/a and Latino/a literature. He earned his degree in English literature from Stanford University, and law degree from UCLA.
