Author's Bio

Caitlin Doyle is a poet, educator, and Long Island native. She has taught poetry as the Writer-In-Residence at St. Albans School in Washington, DC, has served as the James Merrill House Writer-In-Residence in Stonington, CT, and has taught as a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Boston University. Most recently, she taught writing as the Emerging Writer-In-Residence at Penn State University and as the Writer-In-Residence at Interlochen Arts Academy. She has been awarded residency fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Yaddo Corporation, the Jack Kerouac House, the Ucross foundation, the Jentel Foundation, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and others. Caitlin earned her MFA from Boston University, where she was the George Starbuck Fellow in Poetry. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the Thomas Wolfe Scholar in Creative Writing. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies as an Elliston Fellow in Poetry in the University of Cincinnati PhD Program in English Literature and Creative Writing.
