Editorial Focus

Brooklyn Arts Press (BAP) is a literary press devoted to publishing chapbooks and full-length collections of poetry, novels, lyrical short fiction, and art monographs by emerging artists. They believe they serve their community best by publishing great works of varying aesthetics side by side, subverting the notion that writers and artists exist in vacuums, apart from the culture in which they reside and outside the realm and understanding of other camps and aesthetics.

Tips From the Editor

We receive 800 manuscripts a year, many of them of high quality, and publish maybe 1% of those submissions. Competition is steep, so send us your very best work.
