Bev Jafek

Author's Bio

I have published about 45 of my short stories and novel excerpts in the literary quarterly and university press publications. Some have been translated into German, Italian and Dutch. The Overlook Press, distributed by Penguin-Putnam, published my first story collection, The Man Who Took a Bite Out of His Wife, and reprinted it in paperback two years later. My first novel, The Sacred Beasts, will be published by Bedazzled Ink Books in October 2016,and my second novel, A Kind of Paradise, is circulating among agents and publishers. My second story collection, Three Nights of Love, is nearly completed and will be circulating. My third novel, When the Sixties Died, will be finished by the end of 2016, and I will finish my third story collection, More Creatures, by 2017. I have plans for many more novels, of course, and my time is free (at last!) to write fiction full-time. That's why you see the full schedule of books.
