The 11th Annual Western Maryland Independent Lit Festival was held from October 13 to October 14 in downtown Frostburg, Maryland. The festival, cosponsored by the Frostburg State University Center for Literary Arts and the Allegany County Library System, celebrated independent literature and presses, and featured panels, roundtables, readings, and a book fair. Participating authors included poets Benjamin Brindise, Justin Karcher, Nathanael Stolte, and Mai’a Williams. Past participating small presses included Autumn House Press, City Lit Press, Five Oaks Press, Lascaux Editions, and Pittsburgh Poetry Review.
