The sixth annual Publish & Promote Your Book Conference for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers will be held on June 22 at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. The conference features panels and pitch sessions with agents, editors, and other publishing professionals. Participating publishing professionals include editors Caitlin Alexander, Peter Borland (Atria Books), Sally Howe (Scribner), Alex Logan (Grand Central Publishing), and Helen Richard (G. P. Putnam’s Sons); and agents Sarah LaPolla (Bradford Literary Agency), Cynthia Manson (Cynthia Manson Literary Agency), Lori Perkins (L. Perkins Agency), and Tina Pohlman (Union Literary). Fiction writer Sophie McManus will attend as a guest author. The cost of the conference is $625, which includes two pitches. Preconference “Prep for Your Pitch” sessions will be held on June 19, June 20, and June 21; the cost is $85.
