The Roads to Write Retreat was held from June 2 to June 10 on scenic byways through Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. The retreat, meant to inspire “growth, community, art, and the written word,” featured tours of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, and Zion national parks, as well as time to write for twelve poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. Poet Nicole Robinson and and guide Daniel Cannon led the retreat. Tuition was $1,795, which included all tours, tent camping, and most meals. Participants were responsible for their own airfare to Las Vegas, the first destination. Registration was first come, first served; the deadline was April 20. A $20 deposit was required at the time of registration. Visit the website for more information.
