The Renaissance House Residency Program offered an activist writers festival from September 17 to September 19 for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Participation in the festival may have been limited to 20 writers to ensure adherence with public health guidelines. The festival featured workshops, musical performances, and time to write. Participating writers included nonfiction writers Carolyn Brown, Linda Burnham, and Jessica B. Harris, and activist Caroline Hunter. The cost of the festival was $195 and included a continental breakfast. Lodging was available at hotels and inns in the area.
