The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center offers a monthlong residency in June to a poet, fiction writer, or nonfiction writer in Piggott, Arkansas. The resident will receive a $1,000 stipend, lodging in a private loft apartment, and access to the studio where Ernest Hemingway worked on A Farewell to Arms. The resident will be expected to serve as a mentor at the center’s weeklong retreat for writers and give at least one reading.
