In this event at the University of Arizona Poetry Center, Annie Wenstrup reads from her debut collection, The Museum of Unnatural Histories (Wesleyan University Press, 2025), and Lena Khalaf Tuffaha reads from her latest collection, Something About Living (University of Akron Press, 2024).
In this event hosted by the Palestine Festival of Literature and Mizna in Minneapolis, poets Mosab Abu Toha, Sarah Aziza, Nick Estes, Dina Omar, Sagirah Shahid, Danez Smith, and Lena Khalaf Tuffaha come together for an evening of performance, music, and conversation about the meaning and power of literature.
In this video, Lena Khalaf Tuffaha accepts the 2024 National Book Award in poetry for her collection Something About Living (University of Akron Press, 2024). “I’m proud to stand here today, and to accept this honor as a Palestinian American on behalf of all the deeply beautiful Palestinians that this world has lost and in honor of those miraculous ones who endure.”
