In this virtual event for the Vocarium reading series sponsored by the Woodberry Poetry Room, CAConrad, author of AMANDA PARADISE: Resurrect Extinct Vibration (Wave Books, 2021), and Diane Seuss, author of the Pulitzer Prize–winning collection, frank: sonnets (Graywolf Press, 2021), read from their work following an introduction by poet Ariana Reines.

In this 2017 event, poet and novelist Fanny Howe reads from her rewritten novel, The Wages (Pressed Wafer Press, 2018), and poet and fiction writer John Keene reads from his story collection, Counternarratives (New Directions, 2015), for the Woodberry Poetry Room’s Vocarium reading series at Harvard University.

In this 2013 Woodberry Poetry Room video, Mary Ruefle reads twenty-eight short meditations from her essay collection Madness, Rack, and Honey: Collected Lectures (Wave Books, 2012) with subjects including Shakespeare, Socrates, Van Morrison, the dead, hypocrisy, and loneliness. Ruefle received the 2020 Arthur Rense Poetry Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
In this video, Dan Beachy-Quick reads alongside Jen Bervin at Harvard University’s Woodberry Poetry Room. Beachy-Quick is the author of the essay collection Of Silence and Song (Milkweed Editions, 2017), which is featured in Page One in the January/February issue of Poets & Writers Magazine.
Fanny Howe introduces three short films she made in collaboration with Sheila Gallagher, John Gianvito, and Maceo Senna at a film screening at the Woodberry Poetry Room. Howe has been named a finalist for the 2015 Man Booker International Prize.
