Up to three grants of $5,000 each are given annually to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers who are financially compensated for their work as professional artists. Residents of Tennessee who are not enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program are eligible. Submit two copies of up to 25 pages of poetry or prose, a personal statement, and a résumé by January 28. There is no entry fee. Visit the website for the required entry form and complete guidelines.
