Banipal Trust for Arab Literature

A prize of 3,000 euros (approximately $4,804) is given annually for a book of poetry or fiction translated from Arabic into English and published for the first time in English during the previous year. Fadhil al-Azzawi, Esther Freud, Ruth Padel, and John Peate will judge. Publishers may submit five copies of a book published in 2012 with three copies of the original work by February 28.
