Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in the Cleveland State University Poetry Series are given annually for poetry collections. The First Book Prize is open to poets who have not published a book. Nick Flynn will judge. The Open Competition is open to poets who have published at least one poetry collection of 48 pages or more. Kazim Ali, Mary Biddinger, Michael Dumanis, and Sarah Gridley will judge. Submit a manuscript of 48 to 100 pages with a $25 entry fee by February 15. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
