Poetry Center Prizes
Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in the Cleveland State University Poetry Series are given annually for poetry collections. The First Book Prize is open to poets who have not published a book. Tracy K. Smith will judge. The Open Competition is given to a poet who has published at least one poetry collection of 48 pages or more. Kazim Ali, Mary Biddinger, Frank Giampietro, Sarah Gridley, and Catherine Wing will judge. Submit a manuscript of 48 to 100 pages with a $25 entry fee by March 16.
