A prize of $25,000 is given annually for a first novel or story collection published in the United States during the previous year. Writers must be U.S. residents. Submit three copies of a book published in 2012 with a $50 entry fee by February 1. Fee waivers are available for small presses. Visit the website for the required entry form and complete guidelines.
