Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in New South are given annually for a poem and a story or an essay. All entries are considered for publication. Marilyn Kallet will judge in poetry, and Amber Sparks will judge in prose. Submit up to three poems or up to 9,000 words of prose with a $15 entry fee, which includes a year's subscription to New South, by March 15. E-mail or visit the website for complete guidelines.
