Four prizes of $1,000 each and publication in New Millennium Writings are given for a poem, a work of fiction, a work of short short fiction, and a work of nonfiction (including creative nonfiction). The prizes are given twice yearly, in the spring and the fall, for works that are previously unpublished or that were published in a journal with a circulation of less than 5,000. Submit up to three poems totaling no more than five pages; a fiction or creative nonfiction manuscript of up to 6,000 words; or a short-short fiction manuscript of up to 1,000 words with a $17 entry fee, which includes a copy of the awards issue, by November 17.
