A seven-month residency, which includes a $5,000 honorarium, is given biennially to a poet, a fiction writer, or a creative nonfiction writer to live and work at the Dutch Henry Homestead near the Rogue River in southwestern Oregon. The residency runs from April to October and requires one hour per day of general homestead maintenance. A committee of PEN Northwest members will judge. For the 2016 residency, submit three copies of 10 pages of poetry or 20 pages of prose, a rsum, and a letter of intent with a $20 entry fee by March 1. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
