A prize of $1,500 and publication in Cutthroat is given annually for a short story by a writer whose fiction has not appeared in a nationally distributed publication with a circulation over 5,000. Submit a story of up to 3,500 words by May 15. The entry fee is $15 before May 1, and $20 thereafter. E-mail or visit the website for complete guidelines.
